"Dance" is a transient mode of expression, performed in a given form and style by the human body moving in space. It occurs through purposefully selected and controlled rhythmic movements, the resulting phenomenon is recognized as dance both by the performer and the observing members of a given group. The intent of my thesis is to analyze and understand the sequences of movement of dance and transforms it into architecture. Hence the architecture manifestation as an Arts Pavilion.

Understanding Dance
Dance is a rigorous and specialized area of the performing arts, demanding a high level of physical preparation as well as a thorough understanding of aesthetics.
The dictionary defines dances as “To move rhythmically usually to music, using prescribed or improvised steps and gestures." It is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.
Dance is a way of knowing and communicating. All societies use dance to communicate on both personal and cultural levels and to meet physical and spiritual needs.
